The United Brotherhood Fellowship is a regional Fellowship Meeting comprised of independent and organizational affiliated apostolic churches.
The objective of the fellowship meeting is to celebrate and promote those things we hold in common. Those things that makes us essentially Apostolic, i.e. The baptism in Jesus Name, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the spirit of God gives the utterance, and living a dedicated and consecrated life, free and separated from sin.
Our mission is to support the brethren both spiritually and naturally, sharing the spiritual gifts and talents and natural resources that the Lord has placed among us. We are a network of Pastors, Elders, Ministers, and lay folks, who sense a need and urgency to support one another in Love without the unnecessary politics which have disenfranchised so many in the past. It is the mission of United Brotherhood Fellowship, to be that visible shoulder of Jesus that we so often need to lean on.
Our Mission is to be compassionate and not competitive, and to be supportive of apostolic churches and ministries great and small It is the mission of United Brotherhood Fellowship to help launch and to support the ministries of aspiring Evangelists, Teachers, and Missionaries.
Our mission is to consult, confer, often among Pastors, Elders, regarding issues affecting the Apostolic movement (Proverbs 11:14).
We believe in the Apostolic Pentecostal faith, which emphasizes the teachings of the apostles as recorded in the Bible and the experience of Pentecost.
We believe in the absolute oneness of God, rejecting the traditional doctrine of the Trinity. We hold that Jesus Christ is the manifestation of the one true God. This is supported by scriptures such as:Isaiah 44:6 (KJV): "Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God."Colossians 2:9 (KJV): "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."Baptism in Jesus' Name: We practice baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, as a necessary step for salvation. This is based on:Acts 2:38 (KJV): "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."Acts 8:16 (KJV): "For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."Receiving the Holy Ghost: We believe that receiving the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues, is essential for all believers. This is derived from:Acts 2:4 (KJV): "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."Acts 19:6 (KJV): "And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied."Holiness and Separation: We emphasize living a holy and separated life, reflecting God's standards of righteousness in every aspect of life. We refer to scriptures such as:1 Peter 1:15-16 (KJV): "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."2 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV): "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."These core beliefs define our Apostolic Pentecostal faith, rooted deeply in the teachings and practices of the early Christian church as described in the Bible.
